Mark Nagel

Mark has over 8 years of Information Technology (IT) experience in system administration, infrastructure management, project management, and planning, developing, and implementing state of the art information solutions facilitating corporate growth and cost savings.
Mark first started working with computers developing customized Lab View software to help him with his nanoparticle experiments while obtaining his degree in Physics at the University of Idaho. He began his professional career in 2000 as a Front Line Monitoring Operator for Hewlett Packard.
A short 8 months later Mark was responsible for the company critical servers and the transition of the Agilent Technologies servers to an Agilent datacenter. The completion of this project lead to Mark becoming a Managed Services manager with Manpower Professional responsible for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 system administrators and backup operators at HP for both internal and external accounts. Mark was instrumental in the IT merger between Compaq and HP.
After the HP/Compaq merger Mark worked with Digicom256, a internet service provider, to develop a complete top to bottom wireless internet solution to rural locations. This project lead mark to rejoining Manpower Professional for HP’s imaging and printing group as an R&D manager for the software programmers for the LaserJet line of products. Mark developed numerous cost saving solutions within the UNIX/LINUX development models and firmware testing solutions.
In 2006 Mark moved back to the IT division of HP as an Operations Manager completing production and logistic coordination of over 3500 servers in the Data Center Consolidation project.
