PROJECT MANAGERS
IANYWHERE SOLUTIONS
As iAnywhere Senior Mobility Consultant managing integration project, as well
as, vendor and customer side resources. Engaged customer design and development teams to
ensure proper integration of components. Created deliverables, milestones and project scope.
Worked with customer to ensure full system redundancy. Ensured each developed component
worked within system limits and as designed, as well as, delivered within customer specified
time.
This project involved 3 development/integration teams worldwide. The project was mobilizing
data from Multiple backend systems (Oracle and SQL server mostly) to a common staging
database to be pushed out to Pocket PC/Windows Mobile devices using ADO and .net
technology. I worked on the server/middleware integration and development including
plaiming, scaling, scripting, development.
I have worked on several mobile integration proj ects for various companies doing mobile
application integration, system design and scalability, developing and managing test plans and
cycles, and system implementation for large scale deployments (>30,000 users)
CUSTOMER (WORLD LEADER IN DIETARY PRODUCTS AND WEIGHT CONTROL)
MARCH 2003- APRIL 2004
IANYWHERE SOLUTIONS
As an iAnywhere/Sybase Senior Mobility Consultant, managed development project to
include vendor and customer side resources. Worked with customer and development teams to
create deliverables, milestones and project scope. Ensured that each milestone was delivered as
specified.
This project involved existing Oracle data stored through the company.com web portal,
synchronized through a middleware server to mobile devices and a developed mobile application
(company on the Go). There were 2 separate teams working on the mobile application and the
middleware server. I specifically worked on and managed the middleware server integration
which manipulated data from both sides (Oracle DB and mobile DB) The middleware server
application had to manage the data correctly to ensure data integrity, handle conflicts, utilize
correct data sets, mappings and relationships as well as, provide for redundancy and scalability.
I also provided technical information on the mobile application development in terms of
usability, best practices, and made recommendations to ensure the fastest most efficient flow of
data through the middleware server. I also worked with the Oracle DB teams to ensure
development and structure of staging database and functionality.
This project was approximately 16- 18 months long with the majority of developing and phased
implementation occurring in 8 months from December 2003 to July 2004.
I am happy to talk about who these companies are (industries they represent) but want to honor
their confidence in myself with respect to their names. I have been given permission to reveal
one of the companies via-voice. Thank you for honoring that that confidence.
