W.V. “Bill” Rauer, RA, CICC

CIO Financial Coach

Bill joined 208 Wireless Business Integration in 2011. During his more than 25-year career he has become an innovative and experienced professional with a passion for team-building who excels in a variety of business environments. He also has a proven ability to establish and nurture key relationships and lead organizations while improving profits through strategic and operational planning.

Bill began his professional career with Albertsons Inc., a Fortune 25 company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. His rapid rise through the management ranks culminated with a direct-reporting responsibility to the company's executive level where he coordinated strategic and operational planning for the Store Development function, which managed an annual capital campaign exceeding $2 billion. Along the way Bill led a $9 million dollar implementation of enterprise resource planning tools, chaired an internal venture capital committee dispersing $350 million over projects in all administrative functions of the company, led the development and implementation of store design throughout the company's 36-state operating region, and played a key role in the development of an organization of 350 internal, and more than 3,000 external associates. He also recruited and hired more than 100 architects, engineers and non-technical staff during his 18 years at Albertsons and participated in the creation of education and training programs to best ensure high employee retention.

Since leaving Albertsons in 2003, Bill has applied the skills he honed in the environment of a large corporation to small and medium-sized companies including his own residential construction general contracting firm. He has learned that while the scale is different, the concepts for creating and delivering on a solid vision and mission are the same for any organization. Most importantly he has developed the skills, and obtained the tools that help organizations and their leaders relate the vision, mission, and core values to the organization's employees and, most importantly, the customers they ultimately serve.

Bill is committed to bringing his vast experience and training in service to you, your staff and your customers. If you and your team are ready to leverage your strengths, minimize your weaknesses, uncover opportunities and eliminate threats, look to "Coach Bill" to guide you.
